Kappo
The above characters are Katsu
(resuscitation) and Ho (method). Together, they are pronounced Kappo.
While there are many of these methods, Prof. Okazaki only taught eleven
of them at the Okugi class in 1948.

Note 2: The correct Japanese pronunciation of Kappo places the emphasis on the pp and uses a short a-sound at the beginning and a long o-sound at the end.
